What are the program benefits?

This flexible, hybrid program is designed to minimize your time away from patient care and research. The low student to faculty ratio provides you with focused mentorship to develop your own research idea and design. MGB faculty are eligible for MBG Tuition Assistance ($5,250 full time/$2,625 part time per calendar year) to support the full cost of the program if paid by personal payment.

What are the application requirements?

  • Online Application

  • Personal Statement

    • One page that describes your research experience, interests, and why you are interested in the certificate program​

  • One Letter of Support from your research mentor or clinical supervisor (e.g. chief, director)​​​

  • Curriculum Vitae

What is the deadline for submitting my application?

The application deadline is March 21, 2025.

Can I choose which concentration I complete?

Yes, you will have the choice between the two concentrations.

What are the program dates?

The program will begin in October 2025 and end in March 2026.

​

What is the weekly commitment?

The weekly time commitment will be approximately 4 hours.

​

How will the program be delivered?

This program will be hybrid. More details coming soon.

How much does the program cost?

The tuition for this program is $10,500. For scholars who wish to take the optional Biostatistics Fundamentals elective, the tuition for this program is $11,500.

Are there scholarships available?

A limited number of scholarships are available based on demonstrated need. Please send a statement of financial need (max 500 words) to MGHMonganEducation@mgb.org for consideration.

Are group rates available?

Group rate discounts for departments and divisions will be considered on an individual basis. Please email MGHMonganEducation@mgb.org for more information.

Is this program accredited?

Yes, this program will be offered in partnership with the MGH Institute of Health Professions. All scholars who complete the program will receive six graduate credits in the School of Healthcare Leadership.
